Mircea Eliade (1907 – 1986), philosopher and historian of religion, professor at Chicago University, teaching there from the year 1957, head of the chair for history of religion, author of 30 volumes, literary works and philosophy, with essays translated in more than 18 languages, with approximately 1200 various well documented reviews and book reviews, among which the essay About friendship.
